Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northwell Health. As a Respiratory Therapist - Professional Development, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory assessments and delivering respiratory therapy as prescribed by a physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough respiratory assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Provide patient and significant other education on respiratory therapy techniques and management.

Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of New York.
  • 2+ years of experience in respiratory care, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
