Key Responsibilities- Exemplify Excellence: Set the standard for teaching excellence and showcase the effective use of our curriculum and instructional practices.
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate a growth mindset and participate in coaching cycles with district coaches to continuously improve your practice.
- Integrate Best Practices: Incorporate Accountable Talk, SEL, Personalizing Learning strategies, CRE, and school-specific models into your instruction.
- Share Your Expertise: Record best practices and share them with colleagues to support their growth and development.
- Host Learning Walks: Invite teachers and administrators to observe your classroom and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Participate in the school's Guiding Coalition and lead Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) as requested by the Principal.
- NYS Teacher Certification or certification from another state.
- Preferably tenured teacher.
- 3-5 years of teaching experience.
- A $3,500 stipend.
- Up to 100 hours of paid professional development of your choice.
