About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lifestyle Medicine Market Solutions Consultant to join our team at Blue Shield of California. As a key member of our Lifestyle Medicine Markets Growth team, you will play a critical role in delivering on our member and client growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Strategic Plans: Lead the strategic planning and execution for omnichannel communications strategy for Blue Shield's award-winning Wellvolution Lifestyle Medicine product suite.
  • Drive Business Growth: Develop and execute marketing strategy plans to grow Lifestyle Medicine programs through the Provider and Employer Group channels.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate closely with Blue Shield Clinical, Quality, Sales and Account Management teams to develop communication plans and collateral to promote Lifestyle Medicine programs.
  • Identify Opportunities for Growth: Liaise with Blue Shield Operations and Clinical Quality program teams, and our external vendors to identify opportunities to create referral paths for Lifestyle Medicine programs.
  • Manage RFP Process: Manage the request for proposal (RFP) process, supporting client presentations, and training for internal Sales and Account Management and other internal stakeholders.
  • Prioritize Marketing Strategies: Prioritize marketing strategies, initiatives, and workload proactively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the subject matter expert for Lifestyle Medicine programs to health and benefit buyers/decision makers and healthcare providers and clinicians.
Qualifications
  • Education: Requires a college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Requires a minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Business-to-Business Sales Experience: Business-to-business sales experience is preferred.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven ability to lead implementation of key provider and client-facing initiatives, informed by provider and client needs and industry trends, and develop data-driven product deliverables with relevant measurable KPIs is preferred.
  • Relationship Building Skills: Proven history and ability of influencing and engaging successfully with senior management, key internal and external stakeholders, decision makers, and peers is preferred.
  • Project Management Skills: Excellent project management and organizational skills with high attention to details is preferred.
Physical Requirements

This role involves working in an office environment, with a sedentary activity level and frequency most of the workday.
