Overview:
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is in search of an Industrial Security Associate to contribute to our innovative environment in Kent, Washington.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Internal Security Controls by conducting compliance assessments and self-inspections to verify adherence to governmental and corporate regulations. Identify areas for improvement and suggest corrective measures.
  • Assist with Administrative Investigations by gathering and analyzing data, drafting reports, and conducting interviews to assess compliance levels with applicable regulations.
  • Participate in Communication Security (COMSEC) tasks, including inventory management, distribution, and destruction protocols.
  • Help safeguard government, proprietary, third-party, and corporate information against unauthorized access.
  • Develop and implement an Operational Security program, including security education and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Facilitate Personnel Security processes to assist in the acquisition of individual security clearances.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training programs aimed at educating personnel on the importance of protecting sensitive information.
  • Engage in Physical Security duties within Boeing facilities, including conducting facility checks and reviewing plans for classified areas to ensure compliance.
  • Support subcontractor management to guarantee adherence to government regulations.
Work Environment:
This position is expected to be fully onsite.

Security Clearance:
Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance is required.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial security.
  • Experience with Special Access Programs is preferred.
Preferred Experience:
  • 1+ years in NISP, SAP, or SCI domains.
  • Familiarity with the National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations Manual (NISPOM).
Education:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Travel Requirements:
This role may involve occasional travel.
