This position demands a high level of organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to identify and understand legal complexities within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and provide documents related to debt collection, including court filings and settlement agreements.
  • Monitor changes in federal, state, and local laws affecting the collections process and ensure compliance across all operations.
  • Organize and manage case files, ensuring efficient and timely handling of legal matters related to collections.
  • Assist in preparing for court cases, including gathering evidence, coordinating with external legal counsel, and supporting the legal team during litigation.
  • Work closely with the collections and accounting departments to align strategies and ensure a cohesive approach to debt recovery.
  • Generate detailed reports and summaries for leadership, outlining the status of ongoing cases and highlighting key legal and compliance issues.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in collections and litigation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Florida Notary Public certification is a plus.
