Job Summary: The Warehouse Operations Specialist is tasked with efficiently prioritizing and selecting products to fulfill orders, staging items for loading, and physically handling products weighing up to 50 pounds. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a tidy work area, organizing inventory, and executing administrative duties as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload delivery vehicles, moving and lifting products up to 50 pounds.
  • Organize warehouse inventory by product category and physical arrangement, ensuring space for overflow.
  • Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks within the facility, including upkeep of the warehouse and surrounding areas.
  • Compile and submit reports regarding damaged or outdated stock, and return products to suppliers.
  • Prioritize and select materials to fulfill orders and prepare products for loading.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing products and assist in periodic inventory counts.
  • Safely operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers) and maintain an operator license if required.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and preparation of documentation, including daily warehouse closing activities.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, taste, and smell.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
