Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist

This role focuses on providing medical and clinical support services to patients. In addition, this role involves performing various cardiology-related duties, including evaluating physical conditions related to blood flow and pressure in the coronary arteries and heart chambers using specialized imaging and diagnostic techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Provides technical support and assistance to physicians during Electrophysiology procedures.
- Performs scrub, hemodynamic monitoring, stimming, and circulating with all Electrophysiology procedures.
- Provides care, assessment, and instruction to patients prior to, during, and after procedures.
- Maintains and troubleshoots electrophysiology laboratory equipment to ensure operability and safety.
- Performs emergency therapeutic maneuvers during procedures and initiates life support techniques in the event of a cardiac and respiratory arrest.
- Associates degree from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology.
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
- One (1) year of relevant experience.
This role requires working in a semi-restricted and restricted environment, standing under hot surgical lights for prolonged periods, and frequent exposure to hazardous chemicals, blood, and bodily fluids.

- Knowledge of cardiac procedures and equipment operation.
