Job Summary

This role focuses on providing medical and clinical support services to patients. In addition, this role involves performing various cardiology-related duties, including evaluating physical conditions related to blood flow and pressure in the coronary arteries and heart chambers using specialized imaging and diagnostic techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides technical support and assistance to physicians during Electrophysiology procedures.
  • Performs scrub, hemodynamic monitoring, stimming, and circulating with all Electrophysiology procedures.
  • Provides care, assessment, and instruction to patients prior to, during, and after procedures.
  • Maintains and troubleshoots electrophysiology laboratory equipment to ensure operability and safety.
  • Performs emergency therapeutic maneuvers during procedures and initiates life support techniques in the event of a cardiac and respiratory arrest.
Requirements
  • Associates degree from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology.
  • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
  • One (1) year of relevant experience.
Physical Requirements

This role requires working in a semi-restricted and restricted environment, standing under hot surgical lights for prolonged periods, and frequent exposure to hazardous chemicals, blood, and bodily fluids.
