Security Specialist Job Description

Kaimetrix is seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to contribute to our team's success. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in various security disciplines, including Personnel, Information, Industrial, and Physical Security, as well as Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough security processes and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Review and process contractor vetting packets, initiate investigations, and schedule fingerprinting requests.
  • Manage in/out processing for military, civilian, and contractor personnel, and handle clearance documentation.
  • Own and create subjects in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), granting appropriate access and removing subjects as needed.
  • Conduct periodic re-investigations and process individuals for continuous enrollment based on their previous CE/investigation date and position description (PD)/Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) requirements.
  • Process and update Visit Authorization Requests (VAR), maintaining the current VAR roster.
  • Perform daily Protective Distribution System (PDS) inspections and setup Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) terminals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in security operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • US Citizenship and ability to pass a background check.
Additional Requirements:
  • A background check will be required as a condition of employment.
