Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Dairy Maid Dairy. As a key member of our warehouse and cooler team, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, storing, and distributing items within our refrigerated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload stacks and move items as assigned, ensuring accurate sorting and placement on racks, shelves, or in bins.
  • Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated areas, maintaining organization and rotation of stock.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all DFA GMP's and corporate regulations.
  • Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other items, and distribute to production workers.
  • Accurately pull and prepare customer orders for shipping, checking all information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Use computer systems to accurately scan or enter/maintain inventories and records.
  • Complete daily pick sheets, cycle counts, and production take backs, as well as assist with monthly inventory counts and year-end inventory counts.
  • Monitor materials, product, and equipment at each step of the process, reporting irregularities or concerns to supervisor.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of warehouse, distribution, production, or related experience.
  • Certification and/or License - may require forklift, walk behind jack, or other related work certifications.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a refrigerated environment (38 degrees or colder) for sustained periods. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to changing situations and perform tasks as assigned, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately without constant supervision.
