About the Job

Job Summary:

As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing operating rooms, maintaining equipment, and providing technical support to surgeons and nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, including setting up instrumentation and equipment
  • Maintain and troubleshoot medical equipment, ensuring optimal functionality
  • Provide technical support to surgeons and nurses during procedures
  • Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and transfer during surgery
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of procedures

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also possess strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education and Certifications:

A degree in Surgical Technology or a related field, along with relevant certifications (e.g., CST), is required for this position.
