About the Role

The successful candidate will provide consecutive in-person and virtual interpretation services for our clients in the Columbus, Cincinnati, and Dayton, Ohio area. This is a unique opportunity to use your language skills to make a positive impact on people's lives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality interpretation services for clients in various settings, including medical, legal, and social services.
  • Follow interpreter protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and confidential interpretation.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, patients, and healthcare providers.
  • Continuously improve vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge to meet the needs of diverse clients.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Intermediate level computer skills.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to provide documentation of updated vaccinations.
  • Successful completion of a drug test and background check.
  • A signed commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of interpreting experience.
