Physician Wound Care Specialist Texas

We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Physician to join our team in Richmond, Texas. As a vital member of our medical staff, you will provide high-quality wound care services to individuals with complex needs.
About the Role:
- Work collaboratively with primary care providers and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive wound management and optimal patient outcomes.
- Visit patients at the facility to provide specialized treatment and manage pressure ulcers, infectious wounds, injury wounds, or any wounds that have failed improvement with primary care management.
- Assess patients on a weekly basis or as needed and meet the standard required by the facility's Medical Director.
- Deliver high-quality wound care services to individuals with intellectual disabilities served by the facility in accordance with current accepted medical practices.
Requirements:
- A full/active MD license.
- Minimum of three years relevant experience.
- An active unrestricted Texas license.
- Board Certified Physician.
