Responsibilities:

  1. Assess patient conditions during admission and scheduled shifts, promptly identifying and reporting changes
  2. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough documentation of care administration
  3. Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic responses, and take appropriate action in case of unintended reactions
  4. Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating needs, and resolving them

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Virginia as a registered nurse or has a compact license
  • Previous experience in an acute care facility preferred
  • BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date
