Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to provide high-quality patient care and support to our medical staff at BFF Medical Wellness Clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Obtain and record vital signs, medical history, and other patient information.
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples for testing and analysis.
  • Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care.
  • Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other diagnostic tests.
  • Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health records (EHR) system.
  • Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication instructions.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and other administrative tasks as needed.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a medical assistant and phlebotomy training program.
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment.
