Job Title: OCONUS Hardware Engineer

Synergy ECP is seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to join our team in providing ongoing mission-critical OCONUS field support for SIGINT solutions. This is a new Prime Contract opportunity, and we are actively staffing for this position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide hardware engineering expertise to analyze complex hardware systems, design and develop hardware components, and perform acceptance testing on equipment. They will also provide hardware maintenance support, deploy and install hardware at CONUS and OCONUS locations, and prepare specifications for hardware acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex hardware systems for SIGINT solutions
  • Design and develop hardware components, including servers, network devices, and specialized processors
  • Perform acceptance testing on equipment
  • Provide hardware maintenance support, including preventative and remedial maintenance
  • Deploy and install hardware at CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Prepare specifications for hardware acquisitions
  • Conduct site surveys and prepare engineering plans and site Technical Design Packages
  • Configure computers, communication devices, and peripheral equipment
  • Prepare installation guides, field test procedures, and troubleshooting guides
  • Organize and direct hardware installations across multiple sites
Requirements:
  • Seven (7) years of experience as a Hardware Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) years of additional Hardware Engineer experience on projects with similar scope, type, and complexity may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
Desired Capabilities:
  • Experience with antenna and antenna subsystems
Clearance:

Must be fully cleared with the appropriate Polygraph.
