Job Title: Project Management Support Specialist

Canvas is seeking a highly skilled Project Management Support Specialist to provide advisory and assistance services to the Air Force in support of program management efforts associated with specific test needs at the Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC) at Arnold AFB, TN.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide procurement support, including market research, contract administration, and records management.
  • Support project management efforts, including project life cycle phases, project schedules, and project documentation.
  • Assist in the development of project plans, including project charters, project management plans, and project schedules.
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing and maintaining project documentation, tracking project progress, and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Support the management of large complex construction projects, including contract administration, procurement, and project coordination.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline and 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of effective project management tools and techniques.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new applications quickly.
  • Ability to effectively interface with various Base organizations to complete support assignments.
  • Knowledge of government procurement processes and the management of large complex construction projects desired.
Security Clearance:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
