Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Procedure Technologist PRN to join our team at Corpus Christi Medical Center. As a Special Procedure Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for all aspects of patient radiographic imagery for invasive procedures and for radiologic safety precautions as they pertain to the patient, Special Lab staff and the physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and carry out records of all radiologic requirements for quality control.
  • Administer medication and therapies under a physician's direction.
  • Work as a team player and meet the needs of the Special procedures team.
  • Understand sterile techniques and sterile field procedures.
  • Have an understanding of procedures performed in specials Lab.
Requirements
  • One year of related experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.
  • Associated degree from a school of radiological technology is required.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
  • Current TDH certificate for Certified Medical Technologist is required.
  • ARRT is preferred.
