Ultrasound Technologist Job Summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound and non-invasive vascular procedures at a technical level, ensuring the highest degree of quality performance and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality ultrasound services, including OB/GYN, Abdominal, Breast, Small parts, Neurological, and limited vascular exams.
  • Photograph images of organs shown on display module or remove strip printout from equipment to obtain permanent record of internal examination.
  • Work collaboratively with the ultrasound team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Travel to satellite facilities as needed to support staffing requirements.
  • Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions.
  • Transport patients as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equivalent on-the-job training.
  • ARDMS certification is required; 90-day grace period allotted for RVT certification.
  • OB/GYN, Abdominal, and Small parts experience is required.
