About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Neville Center at Fresh Pond. As a key member of our interdisciplinary department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop individualized plans of care for residents, communicating effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide skilled treatments and interventions to residents, promoting optimal functional outcomes and quality of life.
  • Document resident progress and participation in treatment sessions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and family members to educate them on resident functional levels and provide support as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to infection control and equipment maintenance protocols.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive care plans.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current and in good standing discipline-specific state license.
  • One year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility and/or Long Term-Care setting, preferred.
