Advanced Practice Provider in General Surgery

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, within the Department of Surgery, is actively seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to enhance our Division of General Surgery.
- A well-established program specializing in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), Bariatric Surgery, and General Surgery offers a collaborative and supportive environment for an APP (PA or NP).
- This role allows for the flexibility to develop your own practice style while benefiting from the resources and support of a comprehensive surgical program.
- The selected Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will operate in an office environment, conducting both initial and follow-up consultations with patients focused on general surgery and medical weight management, which includes prescribing medications, treatment plans, and patient education. Opportunities to learn and perform ambulatory procedures such as pH probe and manometry are also available.
- Additional duties encompass patient care coordination with collaborating physicians and Patient Navigators, documentation of care plans, assisting with educational seminars, participating in various hospital committees, and tracking patient progress.
- The APP will primarily work at a designated location and may also cover additional locations based on residency considerations.
Experience: A minimum of three years of relevant experience is preferred.
Requirements: RNFA Certification or progress towards RNFA Certification is necessary.
