Position Overview:
As a key member of the Nursing leadership team, the Manager of Patient Services for Telemetry is responsible for overseeing critical functions that support Nursing operations within the hospital. This role encompasses management of either a significant service or multiple smaller units, ensuring high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assume management responsibility for designated Nursing functions, collaborating with subordinate personnel to enhance service delivery.
- Oversee the performance improvement processes, staffing effectiveness, and fiscal management within assigned units.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facilitate communication of these requirements across the team.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to align departmental objectives with hospital goals.

Leadership and Development:
- Mentor and guide Clinical Managers and Nursing supervisory staff, fostering a culture of excellence in customer service.
- Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and assess workflow quality and quantity, making recommendations for improvement as necessary.

Personnel Management:
- Participate in personnel actions including hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary measures.
- Assist in the development of long-term goals for the department and monitor progress towards achieving these objectives.

Compliance and Standards:
- Uphold the standards of conduct and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Support the implementation of audit recommendations to maintain compliance and enhance operational integrity.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan.
- A minimum of three years of progressive experience in Nursing is required.
