Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Urology Nurse to join our team at Lakeland Hospital St Joseph. As a Urology Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Michigan
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Preferred: Respiratory Therapist Registry (NBRC) certification
This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
