Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute standard assembly tasks on structural and mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and aircraft systems using manual techniques.
  • Engage in the enhancement of products and processes by collaborating in the design, creation, and evaluation of innovative concepts and technologies.
  • Travel to various facilities may be necessary.
  • The selected individual will be expected to work onsite at designated locations.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Proficient in reading, comprehending, and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in interpreting engineering schematics.
  • At least 1 year of experience utilizing precision measuring instruments.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the fabrication or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems following industry standards.
  • 1 year of experience with machine shop operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with assembly and production methodologies, including the necessary manufacturing data for defining delivery configurations.
  • Ability to distinguish between production processes and in-service requirements.
  • Participate in the assessment and qualification of materials, suppliers, and processes to ensure compliance with production standards.
  • Demonstrate commitment to team objectives and collective performance.
  • Understand the dynamics of effective teamwork to achieve superior results.
  • Knowledge of metal properties and common materials.
  • Comprehensive understanding of shop processes, including FOD prevention, material handling, safety protocols, and ESD requirements.
Typical Education / Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
