Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of pallet tracking, driver logs, and trip reports
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal customers
  • Track and manage return goods as directed by customers
  • Perform various administrative duties, including handling accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fuel reconciliation, and office supply inventory
  • Update moves within a yard management system and maintain movement records
  • Dispatch drivers and maintain route books
  • Escalate driver/operational concerns to local management and assist with driver coverage of vacation and overflow freight
  • Collaborate with the Safety team as required
Requirements
  • 2 years of general office experience
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • AS400 experience preferred
