Job Overview

Metro Infectious Disease Consultants is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner for part-time supervision and administration of infusion therapy at our clinic in Olympia, WA.

About the Role

  • Experience with peripheral IV catheter placement and maintenance
  • Knowledge of medication preparation and IV administration
  • Familiarity with electronic pump use and troubleshooting
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assessing patient needs and establishing priorities
  • Documenting infusion charting and patient messages in the EMR system
  • Addressing patient questions and concerns within their scope of practice
  • Monitoring the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment
  • Collaborating with the facility to ensure good interpersonal communication
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Hold an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license
  • Have experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in an infusion-related setting
  • Be proficient in chemo experience, although not required
  • Provide proof of current vaccinations, including those recommended for immunocompromised patients
