Senior Auditor

Mercy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor - Data Analytics to join our Internal Audit team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading aspects of audits, including planning and executing audits, developing risk matrices and audit programs, and coordinating fieldwork with process owners.

• Develop and execute audit plans, including risk assessments and audit programs
• Coordinate fieldwork with process owners and document and evaluate audit results
• Participate in process walkthroughs to review and analyze existing controls and identify gaps in controls and potential improvement opportunities
• Develop data analysis for audit projects utilizing Computer Assisted Audit Tools
• Travel to other Mercy communities approximately 5% of the time

• 3 years of experience in auditing or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Experience working with computer-aided auditing, continuous monitoring, and Computer Assisted Audit Tools (ACL, IDEA, Tableau)
• Certifications: CPA, CIA or CFE
• Knowledge of audit standards and practices with strong analytical capabilities
• Ability to evaluate the internal control environment with a high degree of objectivity and identify significant business risks to the organization
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
