Position Summary:

Role Overview:
The Grant Financial Coordinator will oversee the accounting processes related to state grant funds and maintain accurate grant documentation. This role involves providing essential support in grant management and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Uphold the core values of the College, including Learning, Excellence, Accountability, Diversity, Student Success, Teamwork, Integrity, and Respect. Regular attendance is essential.
2. Execute administrative tasks such as responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, creating and updating documents and reports, managing filing systems, and coordinating meetings.
3. Complete all necessary training and maintain the skills required for effective performance in this role.
4. Contribute to Student Success initiatives, which may involve taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
5. Grant Accounting Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial management of grants, including budget preparation, expense analysis, and ensuring accuracy in reporting.
- Collaborate with the Post Award Grant Coordinator and Project Managers to develop and track grant budgets, providing regular updates.
- Process grant invoices for reimbursement in a timely manner.
- Prepare budget forecasts based on actual expenditures to ensure compliance with grant requirements.
- Monitor grant receivables and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with grantor guidelines through the implementation of internal controls.
- Analyze grant agreements to understand financial reporting and compliance obligations.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in a relevant field OR
- Relevant education combined with 2 years of related occupational experience OR
- 2 years of relevant occupational experience.
- 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Experience in accounting, particularly in grant management.
