Academic Faculty Position

Viterbo University is seeking a qualified individual to fill a tenure-track position as an Assistant or Associate Professor in Counselor Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching core courses, providing services to the university, participating in department leadership, advising students, and contributing to the development of the counselor education program.
Responsibilities- Teach graduate-level courses in counselor education
- Provide clinical supervision and dissertation support to doctoral students
- Contribute to the development of the counselor education program
- Participate in department leadership and service activities
- Advise students and provide community service
- Ph.D. or Ed.D. from a CACREP-accredited Counselor Education and Supervision program
- Able to receive terminal licensure in the state of WI within one year of employment
- Teaching experience in graduate education using face-to-face and online or hybrid learning modalities
- Strong professional identity as a counselor educator
- Competence in working with students from diverse populations and backgrounds
- Five years of clinical experience in either school counseling or clinical mental health counseling
- Experience providing clinical supervision
- Interest in assisting with clinical coordination
- Interest in securing and working with externally funded grants
- Experience with CACREP accreditation
- College teaching experience
