About the Role

iKids U is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Program Director to lead our afterschool programs in the Austin metro area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Site Managers and Coordinators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational programs, and maintaining compliance with Texas Rising Star and licensing standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Site Managers and Coordinators to deliver exceptional afterschool programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Texas Rising Star and licensing standards for all program sites and staff.
  • Proactively manage all licensing paperwork and maintain accurate records.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Site Managers, school administrators, parents, and the school community.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive enrollment growth and improve program quality.
  • Perform regular staff evaluations and provide coaching and support to ensure a supportive and growth-minded team environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of team leadership experience in a licensed childcare setting in Texas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with multiple audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative work settings.
  • Proficient with online registration and class management systems.
  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to attain quickly.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year.
  • A full-time position with a changing weekly schedule, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or seasonal weekend events.
