Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all maintenance activities to ensure they are completed within budget and meet company standards.
- Coordinate construction and repair projects, inspecting completed work to ensure quality and compliance.
- Manage the maintenance of buildings, equipment inventories, utility operations, and grounds to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage vendor performance and contract compliance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Communicate project status, updates, and issues with General Managers, vendors, and internal partners to maintain transparency and trust.
- Consult with General Managers and management to specify and purchase major equipment and systems to ensure strategic alignment and cost-effectiveness.
- Work directly with vendors to solicit proposals for repairs, maintenance, and capital improvements to ensure the best value and quality.
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Manage the maintenance budget and ensure compliance with company financial policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve company goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years' experience in facilities operations, with a strong understanding of building systems and maintenance procedures.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors, General Managers, and internal teams.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide excellent service to customers and team members.
