Job Summary:

The Banquet Cook III is a key member of the culinary team at Tamarack Resort, responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our guests. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Prepare and cook menu items to order, using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service during peak periods.
  • Communicate with colleagues and management to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery.
  • Participate in inventory management and ordering of supplies.
  • Assist with menu planning and development, ensuring dishes meet the resort's high standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest requests and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary certification an asset.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
