We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our OB/GYN Clinic team. As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or other provider.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications and injections under the direction of a physician or APP.
- Collect patient medical histories and obtain detailed information for consultation with providers.
- Perform basic wound care and dressing changes, and notify patients of normal lab results and provider instructions for follow-up care.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient care.
- Work cooperatively with the healthcare team to meet the needs of patients and families.
- Associate's Degree in Practical Nursing or Certificate in Practical Nursing.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Illinois upon hire and Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA) within 30 days.
- 1-3 years OB/GYN experience.
