Job Summary

Cary Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Patient Access team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing incoming calls, and ensuring seamless communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and distribute telephone communications in a courteous and effective manner.
  • Direct traffic and answer questions for patients and outside sources.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inpatients.
  • Report on ongoing logs, staffing meeting minutes, and other relevant information as requested.
  • Stay up-to-date on all Switchboard daily functions.
Requirements
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Ability to type at least 30 WPM with accuracy.
