Key Responsibilities:

  • Professionally handle incoming phone inquiries with respect and courtesy.
  • Address inquiries from patients and visitors with accurate information.
  • Maintain and organize medical records and patient history documentation.
  • Relay messages to healthcare staff promptly.
  • Utilize a computer system to document patient data, ensuring confidentiality and scheduling appointments efficiently.
  • Ensure the waiting area is well-stocked with reading materials, refreshments, and snacks.
  • Provide general information regarding office hours and service locations to visitors.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare reception role.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Availability to work on weekends.
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks is preferred.
