Electrical Assembler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our team at Point Eight Power. As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling electrical components and systems to meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electrical components and systems from drawing packages with precision and accuracy.
  • Install electrical components, switches, meters, and other devices onto pans and into enclosures.
  • Perform daily tasks with safe and proper use of equipment and tools.
  • Interpret and apply advanced electrical manufacturing knowledge and principles.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized work area.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, including Discrepancy Lists and Quality Check Lists.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience assembling electrical switchboards from a drawing package in a manufacturing facility.
  • 3 years of experience working in an electrical apprenticeship, as an electronic repairman, or HVAC installer, preferred.
  • Production and processing knowledge, mechanical knowledge, active listening, verbal and written communication skills, time management, quality focus, teamwork, manual dexterity, control precision, arm-hand steadiness, multi-limb coordination, near vision, and customer service orientation.
