Job Summary
Clinical assistants are sought after to enhance their clinical experience in a renowned academic medical center and Level-One trauma center. As part of the Student Clinical Assistant program, successful candidates will work in various inpatient settings including cardiovascular, critical care, hematology/oncology, medicine, neurosciences, orthopedics, pediatrics, labor and delivery, and surgery units.

This is a 29 hour per week position that requires working day and evening shifts on a rotating basis. The ideal candidate will provide basic patient care, transportation, stocking the unit, and answering call lights as an SCA I. For the SCA II role, direct patient care will include bathing, positioning, ambulating, phlebotomy tasks, and EKGs.

Minimum Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in an accredited RN Program
• Must have completed 2 clinical rotations

Work Environment
This opportunity allows nursing students to gain exposure to the hospital setting while working with experienced professionals. With multiple shifts available, you can choose the schedule that suits you best.

Salary Range/Pay Rate
$60,000 annually (NS600)
