The estimated salary for this role is between $65,000 and $90,000 annually.

Gregory Electric Company Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our construction equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in construction equipment and vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve equipment efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and construction equipment.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Welding and fabrication skills are highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred or ability to obtain
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
