Avionics Engineer for Advanced Propulsion Systems

We are looking for a highly skilled Propulsion Engineer to join our Raptor Avionics team at SpaceX. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, and testing avionics installed on Raptor engines.
This role involves working closely with vendors and internal production teams to support new product introduction and sustaining engineering. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development, test, and qualification of avionics hardware and sensors used on Raptor.
- Documenting requirements to communicate to stakeholders through data sheets, instruction manuals, and other product documentation.
- Coordinating, executing, and documenting acceptance, qualification, and development testing of avionics hardware.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics.
- 1+ years of experience working on pressure transducers or other physical sensors.
- Experience working with physical sensors, PCBAs, and/or test development.
Estimated Salary: Based on your qualifications and experience, you can expect a salary ranging from $110,000 to $140,000 per year.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as experience with sensor calibration and/or test rack development. A master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar technical field is also preferred.
