Role Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to provide support for Abbott's Structural Heart Division. This role is pivotal in collaborating with various leadership levels to enhance financial stewardship, optimize costs, and drive process enhancements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing accurate financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and controls.
  • Understanding and applying complex financial concepts.
  • Identifying potential risks and proposing actionable solutions.
  • Conducting standard cost analysis and contributing to manufacturing strategies.

Key Duties:

Your work will involve:

  • Managing Month-End Close, Quarterly Forecasts, and Annual Planning.
  • Developing budgets aligned with operational cost centers.
  • Performing variance analysis to support strategic business decisions.
  • Conducting financial reviews with stakeholders to communicate performance metrics.
  • Providing insightful analyses to guide financial objectives.
  • Leading financial initiatives in cross-functional teams.
  • Identifying improvement opportunities and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Supporting internal and external audit requests.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Quick adaptability to financial software and databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the medical device industry and familiarity with manufacturing or supply chain operations will be advantageous.
