At The National Autograph Collection, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team. As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership and direction to our staff, ensuring that every guest has an unforgettable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of servers and support staff to deliver exceptional service to our guests.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of all banquet functions, including setup and cleanup.
  • Supervise food and beverage service to ensure that every guest receives exceptional service.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining room and kitchen areas.
  • Train and develop back-up personnel for the position of Banquet Captain.
  • Collaborate with the Banquet Chef to ensure effective communication between food production and food service.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in banquet service, with a strong background in leadership and team management.
  • Knowledge of various food service styles and menu planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods, with frequent lifting and carrying of heavy objects.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move up to 40lbs.
Personal Protective Equipment:
  • Closed-toe, non-canvas, and non-skid soled shoes.
