Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
As a Sales Associate, you will be expected to:
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service in a team-oriented retail environment that enhances the Lane Bryant shopping experience for our guests.
- Sales Expertise: Utilize effective selling techniques and product knowledge to meet store objectives.
- Guest Engagement: Foster customer loyalty through collaborative selling strategies, particularly in our key product lines.
- Event Support: Assist in the execution of promotional events and initiatives.
- Store Coverage: Maintain a presence on the sales floor and in fitting rooms to assist guests as needed.
- Promotional Awareness: Stay informed about ongoing sales promotions and effectively communicate them to guests.
- Multi-tasking: Manage multiple guests and projects simultaneously with efficiency.
Operational Execution:
Collaborate with the Store Leadership Team to:
- Implement visual merchandising standards.
- Restock merchandise on the sales floor as required.
- Complete store maintenance tasks to ensure a neat and organized environment.
- Contribute to loss prevention efforts and maintain safety awareness.
Personal Development:
Take ownership of your training and professional growth within the company.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Minimum of one year experience in specialty retail.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to:
- Reach, push, pull, stand, squat, and bend for extended periods.
- Utilize common tools and operate a computerized register system.
- Meet banking requirements and respond to store alarms as necessary.
- Lift up to 50 pounds and climb an 8-foot ladder.
