The Production Supervisor provides strategic leadership and direction to the manufacturing team, ensuring the efficient operation of the department and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) in safety, quality, scrap, schedule accomplishment, productivity, absenteeism, quality, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate the manufacturing team to achieve exceptional results, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvements, leveraging lean problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve issues, and ensuring the timely response to process and equipment failures.
- Ensure that all products manufactured meet or exceed Timken's quality expectations, adhering to approved process control plans and maintaining a high level of quality service.
- Monitor and control KPIs, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, and revising schedules as needed to achieve optimal results.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, educating and directing personnel on the use of control points, equipment, and resources, and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement activities, ensuring the operations of equipment and maintaining a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field (certified).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in fast-paced automated assembly or bearing assembly.
- Availability to work 3 shifts and relocate to the option park, San José Iturbide.
