Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and supervise night shift employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent shrinkage and damages.
  • Ensure accurate computer inventory levels by performing physical inventories and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Coordinate the receiving and storage of products, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Supervise the ordering of products from vendors to ensure competitive pricing and minimal shrinkage.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, management, and vendors to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • Background in inventory control, merchandising, and leadership.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Commitment to company values and strong customer orientation.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift/carry abilities: 50 lbs.
  • Physical aptitudes: agility, dynamic balance, finger dexterity, and manual dexterity.
  • Posture tolerance: standing/walking, reaching above shoulder level, twisting/turning head, bending over/stooping, climbing steps/ladder, and kneeling/squatting.
Work Environment:
  • Frequent exposure to cold temperatures when working in the Produce, Deli, Meat, Freezer, and Seafood Department.
  • Equipment in motion (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters).
