Position Overview:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Newtown Athletic Club, you will be responsible for managing the health office within our facility, ensuring the well-being of all members and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily health operations, addressing treatment and emergency situations.
- Provide care to individuals as needed and maintain clear communication with families regarding health matters.
- Keep accurate records of all health-related visits and maintain up-to-date physical and immunization records.
- Administer medications as per physician's directives and assist during emergency drills.
- Ensure a clean and organized health office environment, while also stepping in to support classes when necessary.

Front Desk Collaboration:
- Share responsibilities at the front desk, ensuring security protocols are followed and responding to inquiries from parents and staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of all health records and comply with all organizational policies.

Professional Development:
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings to fulfill professional development requirements.
- Stay compliant with dress code and health standards, including managing personal hygiene and safety protocols.

Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Licensed Practical Nurse certification.
- Completion of necessary background checks and training in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and compassionate demeanor are essential.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform various physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Must possess good visual acuity and hearing capabilities to effectively perform job duties.

Work Environment:
- This position is part-time and contributes to a supportive and inclusive workplace.
