ACCULTURATION FOR JUSTICE ACCESS & P is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Employment Case Manager to join our team. As an Employment Case Manager, you will play a critical role in assisting refugees and immigrants in achieving economic self-sufficiency through employment.

Job Summary:

The Employment Case Manager will work closely with consumers to develop personalized service plans, provide job readiness counseling, and assist with job search and application processes. You will also be responsible for tracking employment performance, documenting consumer activities, and attending internal and external meetings.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide intake services to employable adult consumers 18 years and older
  • Develop service plans for individuals and families to map out their visions and goals for self-sufficiency, community integration, and family cohesion
  • Converse with consumers to develop short resumes and assist with job search and application processes
  • Provide job-readiness counseling and budgeting training
  • Provide public transportation orientation to consumers
  • Assist consumers and employers with on-boarding services
  • Track employment performance using in-house trackers
  • Document all consumer activities via specified case notes
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on employment services
  • Attend internal and external meetings
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in humanities, social work, or a related field
  • Previous relevant work experience and a demonstrated ability to effectively work with refugee, immigrant, or diverse communities
  • Solid understanding of issues pertinent to refugees and immigrants
  • Ability to cultivate excellent relationships with consumers, staff, and partners
  • Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and schedule time for various assignments
  • Digital literacy, including knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and PDF
  • Flexibility to work after hours and weekends when needed
  • Language ability is not required, but speaking any of the preferred languages (Amharic, Arabic, Dari, French, Haitian Kreyol, Pashto, Somali, Spanish, Tigrinya, Swahili) is a plus
