IT Channel Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partner Channel Manager to join our Arrow Electronics, Inc. team in the US-CO-Colorado region.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity for a seasoned sales professional with experience in selling IT products through the distribution channel. As a Strategic Partner Channel Manager, you will be responsible for selling the VMware product line through the distribution channel, nationally for our Enterprise Computing Solution (ECS) group.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Support and Customer Service: Provide day-to-day sales support and customer service activities for assigned accounts, territory, and product(s).
- New Business Development: Focus on growing and developing new business; proactively call and engage partners to grow sales for assigned accounts and rebuild underpenetrated and neglected relationships with Arrow customers.
- Customer Engagement: Call on customers, provide product information, and follow up on quotes to close business for Arrow.
- Partner Recruitment and Development: Identify, enable, and develop high-potential and non-repeat partners.
- Liaison and Communication: Serve as a liaison between Arrow's internal resources (field sales, engineering, supplier marketing, manufacturing facilities, purchasing, and other corporate departments), vendor resources, and customers.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- VMware Product Sales Experience: Experience selling VMware products to channel partners is preferred.
- IT Products and Services Sales: In-depth knowledge and experience selling IT products through the distribution channel.
- Enterprise-Level Sales Success: Enterprise-level IT and services sales success focused on margin.
- Strong Consultative Sales Skills: Strong consultative level services sales experience.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to solve complex problems; takes a new perspective, uses existing solutions.
- Forecasting Accuracy: Strong SF.com proficiency and forecasting accuracy.
- Work Ethic and KPI-Based Sales Model: Strong work ethic and proven track record in a KPI-based sales model.
- Field Sales and Partner Recruitment Experience: Field sales experience and partner recruitment experience.
- Travel Requirements: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
The estimated salary for this role is $134,900.00 - $215,054.31 per year, depending on location, work experience, education, and skill level.
