Senior Regional Director of Operations

The Senior Regional Director of Operations is a key leadership role responsible for the overall operation and profitability of designated resorts in their region. This position requires effective leadership, strategic planning, and a strong focus on brand standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Recruit, select, train, and develop managers to ensure effective leadership and management of all departments.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve issues that cannot be handled by department heads or managers, including guest complaints and personnel issues.
- Brand Representation: Represent Capital Vacations with the highest level of personal and professional integrity and character.
- Resort Standards: Ensure all resorts within their region meet Capital Vacations and industry standards of excellence.
- Financial Management: Prepare annual budgets, review monthly financial statements, and make necessary operational changes to adhere to budgetary guidelines.
- Purchasing and Cost Control: Review purchases made at the resort to ensure SOP adherence and budgetary guidelines, and take effective action to control costs without sacrificing quality and service.
- Guest Service: Review, monitor, and improve guest service scores to ensure resorts achieve top rankings within their respective resort brands.
- Reserve and Maintenance: Ensure completion of reserve and extensive maintenance projects are on schedule and within budget, including PM maintenance programs for all resorts.
- Long-term Planning: Develop long-term operational and reserve plans for resorts that support the overall objectives of the company.
- Liaison and Communication: Act as a primary Capital Vacations liaison for General Managers, onsite team members, the board of directors, vendors, contractors, insurance agencies, and other site-specific contacts.
- Property Visits: Conduct routine property visits to ensure brand standards and corporate compliance, and maintain written documentation with attention to follow-up.
- Meetings and Coordination: Supervise the establishing of BOD and Annual Owner meetings, including dates, times, and locations, and disseminate information to all necessary parties.
- Safety and Health: Ensure adherence to all factors relating to safety and health, including timely completion of meetings, training, and pertinent documentation under company policy and brand standards, as well as federal and state regulations.
- Mailings and Policies: Approve all mailings to the associations within the designated resorts in their region, and become familiar with and operate within both Capital Vacations Policies & Procedures and individual resort Controlling Documents (Declaration, Master Deed & Bylaws) and federal and state laws that may apply.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry-related experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of management experience in timeshare or mixed-use resort operations.
