Critical Care Nurse

West Anaheim Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients.
Responsibilities:- Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
- Communicate with physicians about changes in patient clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and abnormal results and symptomatology.
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

The current compensation range for this role is $48.65 to $65.40. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
