KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to a local manager, you will become part of a dynamic team of 8 to 10 individuals engaged in various tasks within the warehouse and light production environment. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of activities related to the shipping and receiving of equipment and materials. You will utilize internal computer systems, including our ERP, along with shipping portals.
- Oversee and facilitate all aspects of shipping operations into and out of the Stereo office.
- Assist with both domestic and international shipping logistics.
- Thoroughly document all product transactions using Microsoft Great Plains.
- Familiarize yourself with the portals utilized for product shipment by each carrier.
- Communicate any issues or delays encountered during shipment coordination to the team.
- Complete, maintain, and process relevant paperwork.
- Represent the company professionally within the industry, emphasizing timeliness, personal habits, and appearance.
- Keep management updated on significant issues.
- Support the Stereo Production side of the business as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
While relevant experience is advantageous, we encourage highly motivated individuals who can learn quickly to apply. To be a suitable candidate for the Shipping Associate role, you should possess:
- Proficiency in computer systems, with the ability to navigate multiple platforms simultaneously.
- The capability to manage multiple requests efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- The capacity to follow instructions accurately.
- A proven history of responsibility and dependability.
- A high school diploma is preferred.
This position involves physical activity, requiring you to sit and/or stand for extended periods, assist in unloading deliveries, and occasionally move or reposition equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. To qualify for this role, you must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without the need for visa transfer or sponsorship.
Compensation is determined by various factors, including geographic location, experience, qualifications, skills, and adherence to local minimum wage standards. Additionally, a competitive bonus and/or commission plan may be offered, complementing a comprehensive total rewards package.
