Job Title: Heavy Civil Superintendent

Clark Construction Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to lead our construction operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of construction projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate construction activities, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve project efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to construction teams, including training and development.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on project management and leadership.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of construction management software and tools.
  • Experience with project scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance.
  • Certifications in construction management, such as CCM or PMP.
